Nick Oswald – CEO
Nick Oswald is a successful data science, finance, and distributed systems professional with complementary technical and business skills. He is a certified Data Scientist through Johns Hopkins University and Coursera with over four years experience competing in Data Science competitions and working as a Data Scientist at IRIS.TV, a media tech startup in Los Angeles. Nick is proficient in Python, R, Scala, Cassandra, PostgreSQL, Deep Learning, Convolutional Neural Nets, Random Forests, Gradient Boosting Models, Model Ensembles, and much more.
Prior to self-learning Data Science, Nick worked in finance for ten years with roles including deposit analysis, pricing analysis, product profitability, database development, and forecasting.
Nick is passionate about cutting-edge technology. He was very early to invest in notable startups Tesla and Ethereum, and keeps abreast of innovations combining finance with technology. Nick has a Bachelors Degree in Management Science from the University of California, San Diego.
